Interactive Account Representative - Search Marketing
MSHC Partners is seeking an Interactive Account Representative to join our interactive marketing team. This person will be the in-house expert on search marketing. Ideal candidate understands the basic principles of interactive marketing (banner advertising, blog strategy, word of mouth, etc.), knows the finer points of search engine marketing and has an interest in progressive politics.
MSHC works with Democratic candidates and progressive institutions to help them stand out online, win elections, and further their legislative goals. The Interactive Account Representative will be responsible for monitoring day-to-day performance of search marketing campaigns to meet and exceed client goals.
Duties:
- Managing search campaigns to drive high quality targeted traffic to client sites
- Developing an interactive search strategy for clients
- Handling the day-to-day implementation of search programs for multiple clients
- Working directly with client to meet deadlines and budgets
- Supervising reporting and analysis of campaigns
- Managing relationship and billing with search engine vendors
- Implementing optimization strategies based on key online metrics
Requirements:
- Must have at least two years experience in search marketing. Political experience is a plus.
- Be able to take initiative and maintain high standards
- Be detail oriented
- Be flexible, adaptable to frequent changes in workload, and willing to work long hours
- Be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a particular focus and proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Senior Concept Writer
MSHC Partners is seeking a Senior Concept Writer to join our creative team for the 2010 election cycle. Ideal candidates have 5-7 years experience in advertising or related field.
Ideal candidate is a strong, strategy driven creative capable of crafting a concept and working together with designers, editors and account staff to bring it through to completion.
Duties:
- Working independently or with a team to develop concepts and campaigns for print, direct mail and internet
- Working with our Creative Director, art studio and account team to meet deadlines and see concepts through to completion
Requirements:
- BFA/BA degree in advertising or related field
- Mac proficient
- Internet experience a plus

Website Designer
MSHC Partners is seeking an experienced web designer to join our busy creative team. Ideal candidates have at least 4 years experience in user-interface design. Must be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
Duties:
- Working independently or on project teams to provide solutions for our clients’ new and existing website projects
- User-interface design and implementation for online projects of varying complexity
- Building and/or refining client sitemaps and wireframes
- Working with web developers to implement design elements from concept to completion of project
- Helping maintain and support a variety of online campaigns
Requirements:
- BFA/BA degree in web design or related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 4 years experience focused around principles of web design
- Portfolio consisting of mostly website design samples
- Solid experience in Adobe CS3 software suite
- Ability to work on Mac and PC
- Flash animation, Action Script and front-end development skills are all a plus
